Dolly Townshend, the 'Brown Lady of Raynham', is said to haunt the oak staircase of Raynham Hall in Norfolk. The ghostly apparition was caught on camera in 1936.
When died mr author whose stories fear brought.
M. R. James a renowned author of ghost stories died in 1936.
The town of his grave with a wolf placed before,
M.R. James is buried in Eton.Adding the word wolf gives you Wolfeton.
Leads on to a driver who drives up a floor.
Wolfeton House in Dorset is said to be haunted by ghost of Sir Thomas Trenchard who can be seen driving a phantom coach and four horses up the main staircase of the house.
A saint with his name, one celebrity ghost,
St.Thomas's hospital in London is said to be haunted by the ghost of Florence Nightingale.
Where burial was declined has many to boast.
Florence Nightingale declined the offer of a national funeral and of burial at Westminster Abbey, requesting that her grave be marked simply.
Find the lawyer JB, the town of his birth,
The ghost of John Bradshaw who presided at the trial of Charles I is said to walk Westminster Abbey's Triforium. John Bradshaw was born in Wibersley in Cheshire in 1602.
It's the place where a headless one walks on this earth.
Marple Hall in Wibersley is said to be haunted by a headless ghost.
